Overview
Railways are one of the key components of the NEXL mod . They are not currently expected to be delivered in the first release of NEXL.
These are not expected to serve as a full railway system, but rather as a method to bring freight and passenger services in from map edge to a train station.
Features
Normal roads will be up and downgradeable to bike paths through the normal up and downgrade panel
The bike element can be either
the only permitted traffic on that road, or
simply occupying a small lane next to the pavement
Not all roads, for example highways will allow bike paths
At the moment, a road will not be able to have both tram routes and bike paths on it.
Cycle paths are located within the new transport menu that is delivered by NEXL
